The 100,000 jobs initiative was formed in 2011 with a coalition of 11 companies committed to hiring 100,000 veterans and military spouses by the year 2020. The coalition has since grown to over 200 companies and have collectively hired over 380,000 veterans as of May 2017. Building upon its success and momentum the initiative has pledged to collectively hire 1,000,000 veterans and military spouses and has been re-named ‘The Veterans Jobs Mission’.
